Epac USA is the new home for Harford Industries line of Epac products.

Harford Industries was founded over 24 years ago by Susan Harford and William Mellander. Harford Industries produced & serviced the Epac product line including the Epac 3000/3200 Digital Roll Micrometer. William Mellander was chief designer and engineer for all micrometers, and was among the foremost designers of saddle-type roll micrometers in the world. In 2016 William Mellander passed away leaving behind a lifetime legacy of innovation, technology, and respect from everyone who knew, and worked, with him.

Susan Harford was the CEO/Owner of Harford Industries, she was the driving force of all the marketing, sales, and day to day management of the company. Her vision and drive is what helped Epac become one of the foremost technologies in the industry, and her dedication to her customers and customer service is where she truly shined. In 2022 Susan Harford passed away- her dedication, vision, and creativity made an impact on all that knew her.

In 2023 the rights to the sales & service of the Epac product line was acquired by Michael Stepp- a longtime partner, engineer, and friend of Bill and Susan. Michael is continuing the legacy that was built by Susan and Bill, and will continue to be a leader in customer service, technology, and innovation in the industry.
